What is CQI?
Channel Quality Indicator (CQI) is a measurement reported by UE to gNB indicating the quality of the downlink channel. It helps the network select optimal modulation and coding scheme (MCS).
SINR Importance
Signal-to-Interference-plus-Noise Ratio (SINR) directly affects throughput and reliability. Higher SINR enables higher order modulation (256QAM) and better spectral efficiency.
